Can a Detox Diet Help You Bring Your Life Into Focus?

There aren’t enough hours in the day!

Seriously!  How do YOU get everything done?

Do you ever feel like you are chasing your tail?

That tail chasing feeling is usually accompanied by the nagging feeling that you are forgetting something.

What a bummer when you ARE forgetting something!

Like your supplements or medication! … Need a reminder service?

That can be arranged… but what do you do if you are forgetting to breathe?!

I don’t mean the minimal breathing that keeps us alive.

Breathing is automatic.  If we had to remember to breathe, we would die.

Athletes and singers think about their breathing.  They practice at building their breath.  However, most people don’t realize they are not breathing effectively.

You’d feel a lot better if you were using your lungs to their full capacity!

There is great value in a breath building program!

Would you like more energy, more calm confidence, the ability to recover your well being?!

That is what a breath building program can do for you.

However….

The problem is that unless you have some ulterior motive to improve performance, or your singing voice, you’re not likely to stick with the application of breath building exercises.

Do you really care how you sound in the shower?

You are just not likely to give breath building your time.

Even if you are really suffering, you may not notice quickly enough  improvement in how you feel to motivate you to continue doing it.

So how can you benefit from better breathing if you don’t have the motivation to accomplish it?

The number one reason that you hold your breath… is tension.

Reducing your tension will increase the size of your breath, because your rigid muscles will no longer be squeezing the life out of you!

RELAX!  So that YOU can breathe a sigh of relief!

The cause of your tension could be obvious… or not.

Consistent relaxation practice is the only way to make progress!

If you reduce your tension you breathe more deeply.

“Practice relaxing?  I think I know how to do that!”

Don’t be insulted, I know that you know how to relax; however, I’m asking you to make time each day to devote to releasing the tension that is constantly building.

Simply committing to consistent practice will get you the results you need!  I really want that for you.

Relaxation is not something anyone can give you.  It is something you have to do for yourself.

Give yourself health building, stress reducing, life saving RELAXATION!

  • You must work at this.
  • You can’t find it in a pill.
  • There is no magic yoga posture.
  • Every method requires consistent practice.
  • Guided meditation, or meditation technology is helpful only when you use it consistently.
  • Adequate sleep is necessary to achieve any significant level of relaxation.
  • Facing your emotions is the only way to release tension.

Okay, hold the phone here.

How do you consistently practice relaxing if you are ants in the pants uncomfortable to sit in quiet stillness?

REALLY good question!

How do you do ANYTHING that makes you ants in the pants uncomfortable?

Let me ask you a question.

Are you sick and tired of being tense, stiff, and downright irritable?

Do you have really nice friends who are often outwardly irritable?

Are some people just hopelessly stiff, prone to bouts of bitchiness, and cursed to a life of pain and misery?

How can your lovely friends achieve quiet stillness so that they can release those trapped emotions that are plaguing them?

Can a detox diet really help to bring you to a place of focused quiet stillness?

How can a detox diet help you release trapped emotions to resolve blockages, relieve  tension, decrease stiffness, and lessen irritability?

Remember the stages of disease that we discussed in Your Secret To Empower Health and Well Being?

(If you haven’t down loaded your FREE copy, enter your email at top right for instant access.)

The 7 Stages of Disease

1.  nervous exhaustion

Not enough fuel.

2.  toxicity

Resulting from lack of energy.

3.  irritation

From building toxicity.

4.  inflammation

That’s when you feel it!

5.  ulceration

Toxicity eats away at tissues.

6.  induration

Your body tries to encapsulate the toxicity to protect itself.

7.  cancer

When the cells of your harmonious organism turn against you.

Irritation is actually one of the stages of disease!

The best way to get YOUR disease process moving backwards towards health is to pay attention to rest and diet.

For Starters:

  • Get plenty of sleep.
  • Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of WATER every day.
  • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables in as close to a natural state as possible.
  • Find herbs that help you.
  • Spend time in quiet stillness daily.
  • Make yourself top priority.
  • Nurture positive relationships.

All of the above will help to reduce the amount of toxicity in your body, which will reduce the irritation that you feel physically and mentally.

It is important to remember:

  1. You may need to nap and sleep more at night until you find balance.  Resist the urge to use stimulants to push yourself past your limits.
  2. If you drink anything but pure water with fresh lemon or fresh juices, you will be adding to your toxic load rather than flushing the accumulation you are already carrying around.
  3. The most important items on your food budget are fresh fruits and vegetables, raw nuts and seeds.
  4. Herbs can be very helpful in pulling toxicity out of your system.  There is plenty of hype about herbs being dangerous, but do use good judgment.  Stop any supplement that causes excessive loss of fluids from the bowel, skin rash, or any other uncomfortable discharge.
  5. Your constant pace will keep you from cleaning house emotionally and physically.  Daily quiet time will help you get to know yourself.
  6. When you take care of YOU, there is SO much more to GIVE.
  7. Relationships are the most important priority in your life.  When they sour and start to contribute negativity to your life, it is time to rethink their place in your life.

A detox diet is about making your insides cleaner so that your view of your life is crystal clear.

Helping your body to lighten its load is the beginning of a snow ball effect of improvement.  Less internal pollution will result in more energy, a light heart, and an optimistic outlook.

Get rid of your ants in the pants feelings!

Find comfort within your skin.  You deserve to feel cozy in there.
