How Can Spring Cleaning Improve Your Emotional Health?

Happy Easter!
During preparation for my family dinner yesterday, the beautiful red peppers and yellow pumpkin flowers created such a joyful feeling!
Spring is in the air!
Spring cleaning must be on your “To Do” list.
Whip up a bunch of finger snacks, and entrees to reheat so that you can dig in and get your home feeling cozy and nurturing.
Or better yet, hire someone to come in and do the heavy work for you.
One benefit of being involved in the excavation of your home is that you get to do some internal house cleaning as well.
Cleaning out old emotional energy will improve your emotional health!
All that accumulated stuff that you no longer need, may also have some emotional “stuff” that needs to be processed and released right along with it. Just handling and removing your unnecessary collection from the past will free up energy and draw emotions out of you.
After such a thorough house cleaning you will be better able to attract what you want into your life.
As well, you may find special keepsakes that you will want to display, so that you can enjoy them everyday!
The difference between the unnecessary stuff and the special keepsake, is the emotional charge you feel associated to it.
Creating YOUR sanctuary means removing everything that takes away from your nurturing atmosphere.
Removing negativity and clutter will create a vacuum that you will use to fill those newly emptied spaces with love, light, and joy.
Your home and your body will be healing sanctuaries!
In a previous post, Would You Like To Discover the Meaning of Happiness, I talked about releasing negative energy, so that you can attract positive energy, and vibrate with joy!
In that post, we covered my version of a simple technique called Heart Math. You will find that tool very useful as you are creating and using YOUR joy vacuum.
Attract Positive Energy
- Think of a happy memory. One that makes your heart soar!
- While you let yourself enjoy that memory, focus on your heart.
- Breathe the happiness of that memory into your heart, as though you are actually breathing with your heart.
- Keep your focus on your heart for as long as you can.
(Heart Math is powerful science and spiritual healing at the same time)
As long as you are conjuring up old memories, you might as well write them down!
Happy memories make your heart soar because they are so charged with emotion.
All memories have their charge, whether it is positive or negative.
Your story is not like anyone else’s story.
Telling your story is a kind of healing you can’t get any other way.
Putting the stories to paper takes those emotions out of you in such an effective way, that it can litterally be a liberating experience!
Ronda Del Boccio, “The Story Lady”, is very successful at teaching you how to put emotion into your story.
When you put your emotional stories down on paper, you will be putting down a burden that you have been carrying too long.
Check out Ronda, and let her guide you while creating the “Story of You”.
She offers instruction in writing for profit, though you can rest assured that just getting your story in print will give YOU a huge emotional gain!
The Story Lady can help you to heal yourself through telling YOUR story.
Your emotional health is worth the effort!
I’d love to read your story when it is finished!
Send it to alohakineinc @ gmail.com! (Put “The Story of Me” in the subject line.)
Many blessings,
Carrie
