Be your own hero, then you know ONE.
You and everyone you know, have an innate desire to be a hero.
Look for them, you’ll find heroes everywhere.
Who Inspires you?
- My mentor, Gina Gaudio-Graves, is certainly on the Hero List. Her incredible story will inspire you to greatness. Sentenced to death by her doctors, she has gone on to inspire many to achieve greatness.
- Last week (Jan. 13, ‘09) on her Blogtalk radio show, Relationship Marketing 101, her guest was fellow heroine, “The Story Lady”, Ronda Del Boccio.
- Another guest on the show is definitely one of my heroes. Lynn Jordan, from authorstoolsblog.com, joined the discussion.
3 Very Heroic Ladies, One Great Radio Show!
The ladies were talking about “The Story of You”. Ronda teaches story telling, and she says that in order to inspire others in your relationships, you need to first connect with them on a personal level.
Your “hero’s journey” is something every other person on the planet can relate to, because deep down, all human beings are driven by purpose, tested along the way, and achieve great things through perseverance.
The way to inspire those you care for, is to share with them your Quest in life, and the Tests you have navigated, on the way to Triumph.
You are a hero to your patients. As a caregiver, you ease pain, and bring comfort and concern. Your smile, and your easy humor brighten the darkest days.
Don’t think you’ve got a hero in you? Think again!
Turn your critical eye, into a hero detector. All day long, be on the look out for heroes. You’ll find them everywhere, really!
Who inspires you?
Who picks you up, when you’re feeling down?
Who rolls up their sleeves and helps out, whenever help is needed?
Who take’s care of you when you are sick?
You see what I mean? A caregiver is a hero.
When you get good at spotting heroes, it won’t be long before you will be telling your story, to inspire other to greatness.
You get what you focus on. Be your own hero.
It’s a lot of fun to spend time with heroes! They will teach you to honor YOUR hero’s journey. It’s okay to be proud of yourself.
In fact it is necessary. If you can’t honor yourself, you can’t inspire others with Your Story.
On last weeks Blog Talk Radio Show, Gina and “The Story Lady” were talking about changing the world. The plan is to inspire one person at a time to achieve their highest potential, ultimately making the world a better place.
Pretty lofty plan! I’m in, are you?
Many blessings,
Carrie
