Feeling restless?
-
Do you sometimes get irritable without knowing why?
-
Does silence make you nervous?
-
Do you dislike down time?
If your purpose is calling you, the best thing to do is get still and listen.
I am becoming whole. It isn’t an excuse in my world, so I do not acknowledge it except with gratitude.Whatever obstacle appears before me … I negotiate a path.I am a master prioritizer on a direct route to my Purpose.
-
“Do my relationships work for me?”
-
“Do my relationships work for my friends and family?”
-
“Do I get enough sleep?”
-
“Do I have time for play?”
-
“Am I in deep financial debt?”
-
“Do I make poor food choices because I don’t have time to grab something better before I walk out the door in the morning?”
The Challenge Comes In When You Consider Your Purpose.
The answer to all those questions is very relative to where you are right now. You only know what you know.
However, your purpose on the planet is both definite and brilliant, and if you are not on a path to realizing it …
You are off course!
Nurturing yourself is the only way to realize your full potential, and realizing your full potential is what Purpose is all about.
Your intuition will chart your course if you let it, and the secret to hearing your intuition is to relax and focus your attention on your heart.
That is where magnesium can be your best ally!
Laurie spent time visualizing every day.
If she could relax and visualize her life the way she wanted it, she had a much easier time staying positive and motivated.
The problem was that Laurie became overwhelmed with fear and anxiety every time she had a few moments of silence. Just sitting at a traffic light was torturous, because she couldn’t turn off the negative train of thought that kept cruising through her mind.
She didn’t enjoy her own company.
When Laurie added foods high in magnesium to her diet she saw a big difference. I encouraged her to utilize magnesium supplements as well and she settled into a great new healing space.
For the first time in her life she felt relaxed.
Laurie reported, “my sigh is deeper!”
That was the doorway to Laurie’s “happy space”.
She had been praying and meditating all her life to try and be rid of that anxious feeling that kept her awake at night and prevented her from speaking up and taking action.
Laurie had a hard time wrapping her brain around the fact that magnesium is not a drug. She didn’t trust the psycotropic drugs her doctor wanted to put her on, and this felt a lot like being sedated.
Choosing foods high in magnesium with the intention of nurturing stillness and relaxation made her feel better about it.
When we discussed how magnesium is used in the emergency room to treat seizure and heart failure, Laurie decided that a mineral that powerful should be utilized!
She now keeps a homeopathic supplement with her at all times just in case she needs a little extra help.
Laurie relaxed into the flow of life and started realizing dream after dream. She has much bigger goals these day, and even those HUGE exciting goals don’t cause her anxiety.
She knows how to utilize magnesium. It’s her secret weapon.

Aloha Kevin!
Three cheers for great food and the relaxation side effects they cause!
Eating wholesome food is inspiring all by itself, wouldn’t you say?
Many blessings,

What a wonderful perspective on magnesium, Carrie. I definitely hadn’t looked at it quite this way before. Some of the signs fit me , some don’t. So I guess increasing intake for a while would be a good idea, to see if any changes happen. Shouldn’t dark chocolate be on the list too? I’ve heard quite often that it’s full of magnesium,
Aloha Nicole,
I had several suggestions to add to the list. I relented and added kale, since it is in my daily Green Smoothie, I couldn’t argue with the powerful relaxation I felt it give me! ;D
However, I’m thinking, “I don’t need any encouragement to eat more dark chocolate”, do you? LOL
But yes indeed, Nicole, dark chocolate is another good choice.
Many blessings,
Carrie
Hi Carrie, awesome blog. We forget about the natural cures for certain problems within us. Being a person who eats quite healthy myself, I have used magnesium with great benefits. Thank you so much for sharing.
